I had learned three things that really shocked me from these readings. Firstly, that Germans are associated with pessimism, this one seems to be stereotypical. No real hard evidence like a polling or anything was stated except for one line someone told the author. Secondly that so many Turks lived in Germany, everyone knows the German stereotype of bratwurst and sauerkraut, but I wouldve never guess thyat most fast food was actually Turkish. The only thing i wonder is how a large ethnic group pooled there the countries aren't especially close to each other or anything of the matter. The third thing was how much Germans loath genetic engineering on foods. The vast majority, 70% of those polled agreed they wouldnt touch it which is not only hard evidence but pretty convincing.
