AMD 1

For my AMD assignment, I had my browser translate the Wall Street Journal and attempted to read the days paper in German. I was surprised by how much I was able to comprehend. The names of companies stayed the same and I was able to understand all of the numerical things they were talking about. Which is a major part considering it is a heavily financial paper. It also helps that a lot of words were similar to their English counterparts, and that I could interpret the context of a sentence by recognizing only a few words.
