Kapitel 2 Kultur - William Burton

Hallo, Ich bin William Burton. For the most part, Ich found these articles to be a little bit absurd. Not to sound culturally insensitive, but the idea that it is normal for all Germans to stare incessantly, to be brutally honest to every person they talk to, and to have a profound love for documentaries and statistics is a little hard to believe. However, I do think it's interesting that the first culture article was about the amount of complaining that German natives do, because that is basically what the authors of all these articles are doing. My guess is that, like America, there are some oddballs who do stare allot, who are brutally honest, and who do watch documentaries religiously, but that because of the aforementioned tendency to complain, we have just been presented with an exaggerated version of these things.
