Kapitel 5 - Alex Verros

I found the first article very interesting, it shows a major difference between American and German culture. While in America, it is extremely rude to not say “excuse me” German’s try to avoid the comment at all cost. I also found it funny that the older people get the more violent they are on the streets. The following article also shows a major difference in culture, while sex shops in America are viewed as horrible in German they are just another part of culture. This fact reminded me that drunk driving is not nearly as big of a problem in German. This is because the drinking age is lower German’s don’t feel the need to break this rule. Because viewing porn is not a huge deal in German people are less likely to become addicted or make illegal profits off of it.
