A kind of funny story- I somehow happened to be talking with a friend today, who is also taking a German course at UM, about German street laws and how Germans are safer drivers because their driving exams are much more difficult than those in US and that Germans take pride in having a license.
I really am fascinated by Germany's logic through their street laws; I think more order = better safety. For example, do not mess with "the little red dictator" or you might die. A funny quote I got from the article was that "drivers in Germany all think they are Michael Schumacher".
Also the more I learn about Germany, the more I see their patriotism/unity- yelling at you to get off biker's lane, take off clothes in sauna, everyone staring at you as you walk back to your apartment at 3:00am and the list goes on...
One of the articles reminded me of when I was in Deutschland, I actually had a unique experience on their 'honor system' subways that I will not describe on this blog, hahaha.
It was hilarious reading about the nudists, especially "The Hammer" in Munich who strolls in the English Garden! And apparently there's around 7million people that sunbathe naked!!! Whoohoo! Time to book my flight :D.... Just kidding.
Viel Dank,
Matt
