Kapitel 6 - Alex Verros

All 5 articles for chapter 6 included some very useful information. The first article was about a German newspaper that even though they blow everything out of truth they still have their limits. The second article was about the way to knock on the door in German. You knock once to let them know you are coming in. Knocking more than once causes whoever is in the office to become annoyed. If you knock more than once the following situation (in the office) becomes very awkward. The third article talks about how important garbage is to the German and the different ways it is sorted. The fourth article (in the book) shows the differences in housing between America and German. The biggest difference being very few students actually live in dorm because the school itself is located in the center of town. Only 19% of students live in the dorms. The final article talks about the German city, Tübingen, which is home to 80,000 residents, 25,000 of which are students. Another fact about the city is it has a partnership with Ann Arbor.
