AMD1 blog post- Nitai Leve

Guten Abend,

For my assignment, I watched television in German for an hour. I watched a television show called the Boondocks, or in German, das Boondocks. I thought it was interesting how the start of the show was different, showing how it was the German Boondocks, not the American Boondocks.

I was actually able to understand some of the jokes through my knowledge of the context, which was pretty cool considering I have only been taking German for a little over a month.

I think this is a great way of learning, because you are able to get the enjoyment from the shows which you like, but at the same time, you are still working at learning a new language, so its a fun way to learn.
